Headquartered in Nottingham, Phenna Group, continues its ambitious buy and build strategy within the highly fragmented TICC sector by acquiring ACS Group of Companies Ltd (ACS).  ACS represents the sixth acquisition made by Phenna Group, in just over 12 months.  Phenna Group is supported by CVC Credit Partners who have committed capital to complete near term acquisition opportunities. 

Based in Poole, Dorset, ACS was formed in 1987 and for over 30 years has been providing specialist site and laboratory testing (both physical properties and chemical) to the Building, Construction, Civil Engineering and Waste Industries.  The range of materials tested include natural and recycled aggregates, fresh and hardened concretes, soils, stabilised materials, bituminous materials, natural stones and waters, through its wide scope of UKAS accredited services.   

Mike Drew, Managing Director of ACS will continue in his current role, alongside the company’s very experienced management team and highly skilled workforce.
