Phenna Group, a global provider of testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services, has appointed David Buckley to the newly created role of Managing Director, Geotechnical & Environmental Consultancy. In this capacity, David will oversee six Geotechnical and Environmental companies within the Infrastructure Division: CGL, Concept, Mason Evans, Silkstone, In Situ Site Investigation, and South West Geotechnical. His responsibilities will include developing and shaping these geotechnical and environmental firms, as well as executing strategies to drive profitable growth in alignment with Phenna’s divisional strategic goals.
With an impressive career spanning nearly 30 years, David's journey in the industry began as a Geotechnical Engineer, where he achieved a first-class Civil Engineering degree. Over the years, he transitioned into various engineering leadership and business leadership roles. Most recently, before joining Phenna Group, David served as the Divisional Managing Director for Van Elle’s Rail and Strata Divisions. His extensive experience and strategic insight make him an invaluable addition to Phenna Group’s leadership team.
