Salary & Benefits: £44,000 to £46,000 depending on experience plus car

The Role:
NAPIT is looking for a well-rounded tutor who thrives in a varied, electrically focused role.
The position is based at our Potters Bar training facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver NAPIT-specific training courses to a wide range of customers/clients using materials, presentations and assessments as developed by the technical development team
- Ensure that training delivery complies with all applicable legislation and is provided in a non-discriminatory, diverse, and inclusive environment that is respectful of delegates and accessible to all.
- Be a professional point of contact and assist in day-to-day operational matters at our training venues (including, where required, externally hosted courses).
- Ensure the safe maintenance and operation of equipment and training rigs used on courses, and in accordance with health and safety regulations and company specific requirements.
- Support the Internal Quality Assurance process to ensure the business meets the External Quality Assurance requirements of applicable Awarding Organisations.
- Undertake course development activities as required.
- Ensure compliance with group policies, quality procedures and health, safety and welfare requirements.
- Support the Technical Training Manager in attending internal / external meetings to enable the further development of business opportunities and technical matters.
- Undertake any other duties as appropriate within their competence
Who Are We Looking For?
- A relevant ‘time-served’ electrician who has extensive industrial, commercial and domestic experience in electrical installation or maintenance
- Someone who is experienced in the electrical training sector. (This may, for example, include employment with a private training provider or within Further Education.)
- Someone who has experience in delivering Level 3 (or higher) electrical qualifications
