Headquartered in Nottingham, Phenna Group, continues its ambitious buy and build strategy within the highly fragmented TICC sector by supporting its portfolio company, Building Envelope Technologies (BET) to acquire Build Check Ltd.
Build Check was formed in 2004 by founding partners, David McKenna and Richard Bate, who had a shared vision to support the development of energy efficient, sustainable buildings by offering a fresh approach to building regulation compliance testing and product certification.
Today, from its base in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire it has a team of highly skilled UKAS accredited specialists and provides both on-site and laboratory based building testing and certification services to the construction and fenestration industries. Both David and Richard will stay in post and report to Brian Shannon, MD of BET.
