Role Overview:

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Test Engineer to join our team. This hands-on role is designed for someone eager to kick-start their career in electronics and compliance testing. You’ll gain valuable experience working alongside industry experts, learning how to test and assess products to ensure they meet national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with testing, inspections, and calibrations of electronic products
  • Help with the maintenance and setup of test equipment
  • Support engineers in identifying and reporting equipment issues
  • Work with customers to support product testing and approvals
  • Contribute to the preparation of test reports
  • Develop your skills by learning from and being mentored by senior engineers

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electronics and/or Communications, or a related field (or working towards completion)
  • A strong interest in electronics, compliance, and testing
  • Enthusiasm to learn and grow in a professional laboratory environment
  • Basic understanding of test equipment (spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, etc.) is an advantage, but not essential
  • Proficiency with Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A self-motivated, professional approach with good communication skills
