Sales Executive – Technical Services (Construction Industry)

About the Role
We are seeking a confident, results-driven Sales Executive to join our commercial team. You will be the first point of contact for new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor while promoting a portfolio of technical services across the construction, building, and property sectors.
This is a client-facing, relationship-focused sales role where you'll combine strategic outreach with excellent customer service to build strong partnerships, close sales, and help drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and long-term partnerships
- Present and promote technical services clearly and effectively through outbound calling and prospecting strategies
- Negotiate and secure agreements, closing sales to meet or exceed targets
- Manage and support client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and ongoing business
- Monitor and track sales performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and new services to support sales activities
- Represent the business professionally, contributing to a positive and productive work environment
- Support team training and development where appropriate, sharing knowledge and tools

Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a sales environment
- Experience in one or more of the following roles:
- Business Development
- Outbound B2B Consultative Telesales
- Technical Sales
- Account Management
- Sales Coordination
- Ability to build strong client relationships and adapt to different customer needs
- Confidence in presenting, negotiating, and closing deals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT and CRM skills for tracking and reporting
Desirable (Not Essential):
- Experience working in or selling into the construction, building, or property sectors
- Previous field sales experience
- Experience in staff or peer training/development
