Master Data Specialist (Customer & Vendor)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Master Data Specialist (Vendor) to join our central finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring vendor data is accurate, complete, and compliant, supporting efficient procurement and payment processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update vendor master data (company details, banking, tax info, etc.)
• Validate and verify vendor information to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards
• Process vendor onboarding, including document collection and approvals
• Collaborate with Procurement and Accounts Payable to resolve data issues
• Perform routine data cleansing and audit support
• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for vendor data management
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
• Monitor vendor data quality and support audit requests

Requirements

• Experience with ERP systems, ideally in a master data role
• Understanding of procurement and accounts payable processes
• Familiarity with integrated systems such as AP, AR, GL, and Payroll
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Clear communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume environments
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Exposure to automation tools (e.g., RPA bots) is a plus
