Job Title: Fleet Administrator

Salary: £28,000

Hours: 9-month FTC / Monday to Friday

Hybrid: Leicester LE3 3AW

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Fleet Administrator to join our Infrastructure Division. This is a key support role responsible for the day-to-day administration of our commercial vehicle fleet and associated assets.

You will act as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring fleet-related administration is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for the management of the commercial vehicle fleet
  • Liaise with external suppliers including vehicle providers, fuel card companies, telematics suppliers and insurers
  • Manage Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) and Notices of Intended Prosecution (NIPs), maintaining accurate records and liaising with depot staff
  • Respond to fleet-related queries via phone, email and in person
  • Act as on-site fleet contact when required
  • Maintain and collate all vehicle documentation and records
  • Prepare spreadsheets and reports to support fleet analysis and circulate to management
  • Support compliance activities in collaboration with the Fleet Compliance Manager
  • Complete general administrative duties and support ad-hoc projects as required

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Previous experience in fleet administration
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Experience with FORS accreditation and management
  • Relevant fleet administration qualifications or training
