Our partnership with the AFC and Buildforce is a testament to our commitment to establishing a robust employment pathway for Service Leavers.
Here are some of the ways we are delivering on our commitments:
- Encouraging the recruitment of veterans and recognising their military skills and qualifications
- Supporting the employment of Service spouses and partners with both flexible working and remote working
- Supporting our employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces
- Attending Buildforce Armed Forces Insight Days to raise awareness of employment opportunities within our group
- Establishing an Armed Forces network and mentoring for employees. This initiative is designed to provide fellowship for our employees who have experienced military life, offering them a supportive community within the workplace. The mentoring program aims to help service leavers with their onward professional journey, providing guidance and support as they transition into civilian roles
