Paul Barry is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Phenna Group, with over 40 years’ experience in senior business management leadership roles, in both private, listed and PE backed businesses. He founded Phenna Group in April 2019, as an initial buy & build platform, differentiated by its operating model and entrepreneurial culture, with a vision to consolidate the fragmented TICC market, one that Paul has worked in for over 20 years at global leaders such as Bureau Veritas and Exova.
Steering Phenna Group's ascent as a market leader in the TICC landscape, his tenure as Founder and CEO has been marked by an ambitious vision, clarity of strategic thinking, laser focused M&A execution and fostering over 8,000 skilled professionals across multiple continents. Our team's efforts have cemented our global presence and leadership positions in niche areas of the Infrastructure, Built Environment, Industrials, Food & Life Sciences and Compliance/Certification sectors.
Transitioning to Executive Chairman, he now guides our high-performance teams toward sustained international growth. Our focus remains on operational excellence and strategic acquisitions, leveraging his extensive B2B experience to enhance our global footprint in the TICC industry.
Outside of work, Paul has a passion for travelling with his wife, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and squeezing in the odd game of golf when he can.

Phil Marshall is Chief Executive Officer of Phenna Group, with over 30 years' experience in senior finance and operating leadership roles across both private equity–backed and listed businesses. His career includes 17 years at General Electric in CFO and CEO positions, a FTSE100 CFO role, and partner & head of operations at the global software private equity firm Hg Capital. He also gained sector expertise at Exova, where he co-led the successful delisting and sale of the business.
At Phenna Group, Phil is focused on driving growth while protecting and strengthening the entrepreneurial culture that defines the business. He plays a hands-on role in supporting new acquisitions, ensuring leadership teams feel part of the broader group while retaining their unique strengths. Phil believes successful integration is built on trust, respect, and collaboration, helping new companies feel supported and empowered from day one. By fostering a "one team" ethos and encouraging open communication, he ensures businesses across the group are aligned with Phenna's values while benefiting from shared resources and expertise. His leadership centres on people, relationships, and hard work, with a commitment to building sustainable success for employees, partners, and investors alike.
Outside of work, Phil enjoys travelling with his wife, spending time with his three adult sons, supporting charitable initiatives focused on disadvantaged children, and fishing whenever he can.

Jon Harrison leads Corporate Development at Phenna Group worldwide. Jon left behind a successful 30-year career in investment banking to join Phenna, a former client, in 2024. Jon was inspired by the opportunity to go deeper and become even more involved in a sector he had spent much of his dealmaking career in and had developed a strong affinity for.
At Phenna, Jon is responsible for continuing to build out the global platform, and he and his team focus on identifying and engaging potential partner businesses and welcoming them into the Phenna family. Jon also plays a key role in determining the group's strategic direction and aligning expansion efforts with the group's key priorities. Jon and his team also spend much of their time supporting Phenna's partner businesses to achieve their growth ambitions.
Jon was excited to join the fastest-growing platform in the sector and to harness the dynamic culture typified by deep teamwork and commercial agility to build a systematic and enduring Corporate Development capability.
Jon thrives on building connections both in and out of work and is a firm believer in ensuring people have joy in whatever they do.

Gaynor is Group HR Director at Phenna Group, where she leads all aspects of the organisation's people strategy, working closely with the leadership team and a network of HR professionals across the Group’s operating companies. Since joining in 2020, Gaynor has played a pivotal role in supporting Phenna’s rapid growth, ensuring that its culture, values, and people practices continue to underpin business performance and integration success. Her work focuses on driving strategic HR initiatives, coaching key talent, supporting succession planning, and ensuring new acquisitions transition smoothly into the Group.
Gaynor’s career spans the Aerospace, FMCG, and TICC sectors, with senior roles at Airbus, Northern Foods, Britvic Soft Drinks plc, and Bureau Veritas. She has extensive experience in supporting manufacturing and logistics operations, managing organisational change, and working effectively with unions. Known for her pragmatic and people-focused approach, Gaynor is passionate about fostering an environment built on trust, honesty, and respect, values that mirror Phenna’s ethos of simplicity, integrity, and ambition.
Motivated by delivering tangible business benefits and building trusted relationships, Gaynor takes great pride in supporting Phenna’s speed and scale of growth. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling to visit friends around the world, walking her dog, and reading.

Mark O'Connor is Group Chief Information Officer at Phenna Group, leading the organisation's global technology strategy and driving the digital transformation needed to support Phenna's continued scale and ambition. Mark is responsible for shaping a unified technology vision, strengthening cybersecurity maturity, and delivering enterprise-wide platforms and operating models that enhance performance across Phenna's diverse, fast-growing portfolio.
A global technology and transformation executive, Mark is known for building high-performing technology teams and delivering transformation programmes that create lasting impact. His career spans complex multi-market environments, where he has delivered market-leading digital programmes, built high-performing teams, and helped organisations unlock growth through innovation. Known as a passionate communicator and change agent, Mark is recognised as a trusted advisor at board level with deep expertise in business and technology strategy, operating model redesign, offshoring and nearshoring execution, service excellence, and growth-oriented M&A.
Mark brings significant sector knowledge across telecommunications, IT service and field service management, transport, infrastructure and construction, facilities management, and health and social care, alongside specialist expertise in cybersecurity, critical national infrastructure, data architecture, and AI deployment.
Mark is passionate about learning and interacting with people, teams and customers. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, spending time with his family, and getting outdoors whenever he can.

Eric is the Managing Director of the Americas for Phenna Group and CEO of Hansen Aerospace, LLC. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1994 and spent twelve years in finance before joining Hansen in 2006. Hansen Aerospace became the first Phenna Group company in 2019.
Eric previously led the Industrials Division before taking on his role as MD of the Americas in 2024. With more than 30 years of experience in finance, operations, and senior leadership, Eric oversees Phenna’s growth strategy, regional performance, and the integration of newly acquired companies across the Americas. He has always valued the opportunity to coach and mentor others and remains dedicated to building strong teams and developing emerging leaders.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys golf, fishing, and boating, and he especially values time spent with his family and friends.

Stuart is Divisional Managing Director of Phenna Group's Infrastructure Division, which has grown from fewer than 200 employees when he joined in 2021 to more than 1,500 today. He is responsible for leading the division's strategy, operations, and growth, ensuring teams are supported to deliver high-quality outcomes for customers while contributing to the wider success of the group.
Stuart began his career in the UK steel industry, working in the laboratories of Sheffield Forgemasters and later Wyman Gordon. He went on to establish Bodycote's testing laboratory in Plzeň, Czech Republic. Subsequently, he held leadership roles through the Bodycote to Exova and Exova to Element transitions, with a strong focus on the aerospace sector. He later served as Managing Director of Eurofins' UK Clinical Diagnostics business, helping lead its Covid-19 testing operations. Stuart's career also provided him with the opportunity to work alongside Paul Barry, the founder and chairman of Phenna Group, and Phil Marshall, its current CEO, before reuniting with them at Phenna.
Passionate about integration, Stuart plays an active role in supporting new acquisitions, building strong relationships, and ensuring businesses thrive as part of Phenna's fast-growing family. Outside of work, he is a dedicated sports enthusiast, following football, cricket, and NFL, while also coaching grassroots teams.

Brett is Divisional Managing Director, Asia, for Phenna Group, overseeing a rapidly expanding division that now encompasses 18 operating companies across nine countries. Since joining Phenna in 2021 as Managing Director of the Group's first acquisition in the region, Brett has led both organic and inorganic growth, driving strategic alignment and operational excellence across Asia. He is responsible for leading the division's strategy, performance, and integration activities, ensuring teams deliver exceptional value to customers while contributing to the wider success of the Group.
Brett began his career as an exploration geologist with Baker Hughes before moving into the environmental consulting sector, where he gained valuable technical and commercial experience. He later joined Shell, holding business development and strategic roles across multiple divisions. Brett went on to hold senior leadership positions with SGS and Intertek, where he led regional and local businesses across the TICC sector.
Passionate about collaboration and growth, Brett plays an active role in supporting newly acquired businesses, building strong partnerships, and empowering local leaders across Asia. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, sports, and spending time with family.

Mike is the Divisional MD of our UK and Ireland Certification & Compliance Division, a role he assumed in June 2024 following a long and distinguished career within NAPIT and the wider electrical and building services industries. He now oversees a portfolio of specialist businesses across the UK and Ireland, supporting operating companies to grow sustainably, collaborate effectively, and deliver consistently high service standards. Mike is passionate about seeing his division strengthen and evolve, and values the opportunity to work closely with colleagues as part of Phenna's ongoing growth journey.
With over 30 years of experience in building services, engineering, industrial process control, data communications and project management, Mike began his career in electrical and mechanical engineering before moving into consultancy for major manufacturers. A qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner, he became one of the founding directors of NAPIT in 1992, established to improve standards within the electrical industry by recognising and supporting individual competence.
Mike has played an influential role in industry development, contributing to numerous committees and working groups, including the Building Regulations Advisory Committee (BRAC) sub-committee Competent Person Forum, Each Home Counts Workstreams, the TrustMark Forum, the Electrical Safety Roundtable, the Electrotechnical Assessment Specification (EAS) Management Group and the Scotland Electricians Working Group. He has also been involved in initiatives such as the Home MOT for Safer Homes Task Group and European best-practice renewable energy projects, and is a regular speaker advocating for improved electrical safety standards.
After joining NAPIT full-time in 2004 and becoming Group Chief Executive in 2013, Mike developed a reputation for championing high standards, competence, transparency and integrity, principles he continues to uphold across Phenna Group. He studied Law at Sheffield Hallam University (LLB Hons) and Derby University (LLM Commercial Law), and lives in Derbyshire with his wife, two children and two Vizslas.

Charles is Divisional MD for Food & Life Sciences (UK & Ireland) at Phenna Group, leading a portfolio of specialist businesses across the food, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors. His role focuses on driving sustainable profit growth, both organically and through strategic M&A, while fostering collaboration and operational excellence across the division. Charles also continues in his position as CEO of Eville & Jones (E&J), the UK's leading provider of outsourced official veterinary controls and export certification services, which joined Phenna Group in 2023.
Before E&J, he led a regional specialist legal practice, building it into the largest family law firm in the UK, achieving exceptional growth and a successful sale to a private equity firm. A Chartered Accountant by background, Charles has been recognised as one of The Times' Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders and also serves as a Non-Executive Director.
Passionate about strategic growth and empowering leadership, Charles is focused on supporting operating companies to reach their full potential within Phenna's fast-growing network. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing a variety of interests that keep him active and engaged.
